MIA. Again.

It's been a while guys... Again. So sorry. My life has been crazy in the past month, and although I haven't been posting, I have been reading the blog!

Basically all I've been up to is school, cross country, and work. And trust me, between the three of those, I barely have time to hang out with my friends. Cross country is everyday after school, and then a lot of the day on Saturdays. Our season (for the people not running in Districts, Sectionals, and State... which is me) ends on October 20th, so I only have about two weeks left. I really have enjoyed CC this year. It's been hard (of course) but I ran a lot over the summer which has really helped me improve this year. And of course I love all of the girls on the team, so it will be hard not to see them everyday after school. But swimming will be starting before I know it so I guess I should enjoy the time off!

The place where I work is only seasonal, open from April through September, so I won't have to work for another six months. I was only working one night through the week and almost every weekend night, but it was still really time consuming so it's sort of a relief, although I will miss it in a month or two.

And then there's school.... people aren't kidding when they say Junior year is the toughest, or the year with the greatest workload. It's the truth. I'm only taking three AP/Honors classes (which is NOT a lot compared to a lot of my friends), and I still have a lot of homework. I really like the English class I'm taking, but it is just so much work. We had a paragraph due last Tuesday, and then an essay that is due tomorrow. A LOT of writing. But hopefully it will help my improve in that area.

Hopefully I'm going to start visiting some colleges soon, just to get some of them out of the way. I really want to go to school in Chicago so I think I'll go up there. I also am considering schools in Kansas City (Ashlee!) and I'll probably go see Mizzou and some other Missouri schools.

That's basically all I have been up to. Not too exciting. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to post; hopefully the gaps will be shorter from now on. :)
